KeHE Unwrapped: Todd Westerhoff
At KeHE®, we’re proud to celebrate team members whose leadership, commitment, and heart help move our business, and our mission, forward. This month, we’re excited to feature Todd Westerhoff, Director of Supply Chain Solutions, who works out of our Naperville Headquarters.
With 15 years at KeHE, Todd’s journey reflects steady growth, thoughtful leadership, and a deep connection to the people and purpose behind the work. From execution-focused roles to leading cross-functional transformation, his career is a testament to what’s possible when consistency, curiosity, and culture come together.
Q: What is your current position, and which KeHE location do you work at?
A: I’m currently the Director of Supply Chain Solutions, working out of the Naperville HQ.
Q: How long have you been with KeHE, and what inspired you to join the company? What was your first impression?
A: I’ve been with KeHE for 15 years. I was drawn to the company because of its growth potential, strong culture, and the loyalty reflected in long employee tenure.
My first impression was that KeHE was a place where purpose and performance could go hand in hand, where people genuinely showed up for each other, not just to get the job done, but to do it the right way.
Q: How has your role evolved during your time at KeHE, and what lessons have you learned along the way?
A: Over the years, my role has evolved from being very execution-heavy to helping lead broader, cross-functional change within Supply Chain Solutions. I’ve had the opportunity to build teams, develop new tools, and turn data into insights that drive real outcomes.
Some of the biggest lessons I’ve learned along the way are simple but powerful:
- Consistency is key.
- Listen first, solve second.
- Culture is built through the small things people do every day.
Q: Can you share a standout memory or experience at KeHE that holds special meaning for you?
A: Every serving trip holds a special place in my heart. Whether it was seeing the appreciation for food we provided in Laredo, Texas; meeting the child I sponsor through Compassion International in Honduras; serving alongside KeHE teammates in Ecuador; or helping build stoves in a hillside village in Guatemala, each experience grounded me in why KeHE exists.
Those moments are powerful reminders of the impact we can have when we come together to serve others.
Q: What opportunities have helped you grow personally and professionally during your time at KeHE?
A: KeHE has given me the opportunity to build teams, lead initiatives, and step well outside my comfort zone.
Working closely with leaders across the organization, partnering cross-functionally, leaning into Lean Daily Management, and helping create new capabilities have all pushed me to grow—both professionally and personally.
Q: What changes at KeHE have made the biggest impact on you, your work, or the company culture?
A: There’s been a strong and intentional push to make KeHE the best and most competitive partner in the industry. You can feel that drive in how we innovate, how we collaborate across Sales, Supply Chain, and Retailer Engagement, and how we continue to raise the bar.
That mindset has shaped my work in a meaningful way and makes the future feel incredibly exciting.
Q: How have your colleagues and the KeHE community shaped your experience?
A: The people at KeHE have shaped just about every chapter of my career. I’ve worked with teammates who challenge my thinking in the best way, celebrate wins together, and truly believe in the mission behind the work.
That sense of shared purpose and mutual support is what makes KeHE more than just a workplace, it’s a community.
