Expanding Horizons: Leading Distributor Celebrates Operational Growth and Partner Success with Opening of 530,000 Sq. Ft. Warehouse
Naperville, IL. – July 28, 2025 – KeHE Distributors®, a distributor of fresh, natural & organic, and specialty products in North America, celebrated the grand opening of its new distribution center in Elkton, Florida.
Elkton city officials joined KeHE executives and employees for a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, July 23, where they heard from Deb Conklin, President & CEO of KeHE and Geoff Goetz, Chief Operating Officer of KeHE. Attendees also enjoyed tours of the brand-new facility, networking opportunities, and entertainment.
Although only 3,850 steps from the previous location, this new building provides a 61% increase in space, featuring 29,887 square feet of office space for employees and 6 temp zones, including 390,000 square feet of dry warehouse, 105,000 square feet of cooler/freezer space, and dedicated ice cream and bulk rooms. The expansion allows KeHE to continue to offer enhanced services to retail partners and customers with an increased ability to stock store shelves with innovative and trending products.
“This warehouse has been designed with flexibility and scale in mind,” says Chuck Graefen, Vice President of Operations and Supply Chain Management at KeHE. “Whether it’s meeting seasonal surges, onboarding new products, or adapting to shifting customer demands, infrastructure and processes were built to support success, all of which translates directly into better service levels and reliability for our retail and supplier partners.”
